* Infrastructure Design & Management: Create and maintain architectural designs for IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, telephony, surveillance systems, networking, and cloud services.
* Systems Management: Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
* Active Directory Management: Oversee user account management, group policies, and security permissions within Active Directory.

* Architecture Governance: Establish and enforce architecture standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all infrastructure projects in terms of external factors and internal global and regional requirements.
* Virtualization (Hyper-V): Manage and maintain Hyper-V virtual environments, including the creation and management of virtual machines.
* Performance Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to assess system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
* PC Asset Lifecycle Management: Supply and install hardware, deploy software, and manage asset lifecycle.
* Procurement: Investigate, quote, procure, and install hardware and software solutions.
* Patch Management: Implement processes to keep systems updated and secure against vulnerabilities.
* File System Management: Oversee file system configurations and permissions to ensure data security and accessibility.
* Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend new technologies and tools that align with organizational goals.
* Remote Desktop Services: Manage and support remote desktop access for users.
* SQL Server Management: Support and maintain SQL Server databases, including performance tuning and backups.
* Capacity Planning: Monitor infrastructure usage and performance, recommending upgrades as needed.
* Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
* Backup and Recovery: Implement and oversee backup solutions to ensure data integrity.
* Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
* Cloud Integration: Assist with cloud service integration.
* Network Configuration: Configure network settings for secure and efficient communication.
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation.
* Log Management: Monitor logs for security and performance issues.
* Compliance / Information Security Management: Ensure security and regulatory compliance, including ISO accreditation.
* License Management: Manage software licenses.
* Service Desk: Provide end-user support and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
* User Support: Offer technical guidance to IT teams and end-users.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Degree in System or Software Engineering plus 3 years relevant experience, or 5 years in a similar role.
Technical Skills: System installation and maintenance, security, network management, remote support, fault diagnosis, antivirus, firewalls, DNS/email/web hosting, Office support, device integration.
Project Management: Execute small to medium IT projects, manage software deployment.
Administration & Communication: Ensure compliance, professional communication, documentation, administrative duties, customer service.
