Key Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher in Stratford, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum in line with the National Curriculum
* Creating an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that meets the needs of all pupils
* Differentiating teaching to support learners of varying abilities, including SEN and EAL pupils
* Monitoring pupil progress through formative and summative assessment and adjusting teaching accordingly
* Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement, promoting pupils’ independence and resilience
* Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development alongside their academic progress
* Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and senior leadership to deliver interventions and targeted support
* Participating in pupil progress meetings, curriculum planning, and school-wide initiatives
* Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement, behaviour, and wellbeing
* Keeping accurate records of pupil performance, development, and assessments
* Actively participating in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and other professional development opportunities
* Upholding safeguarding, child protection, and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate
The school is seeking a Primary Teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome)
* Demonstrates excellent classroom management and a positive, consistent approach to behaviour

* Can differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
