Our client have a brilliant opportunity within their Transmission & Distribution team. This role is working as an EHV Substation Senior Project Manager, delivering pre-construction and construction activities, from design to energisation, on large scale HV infrastructure and grid connection projects from 33kv to 400kv.
You will be involved from feasibility, through detailed design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of Substation new builds or upgrades.
We are looking for a Design Project Engineer who can:
1. Produce a comprehensive suite of design drawings for Grid and Primary substations.
2. Prepare technical specifications for electrical plant and deliver associated electrical designs for substation upgrades and new-build projects from 11kV up to and including 132kV.
3. Develop substation feasibility studies, including cost estimates, layouts, general arrangements (GAs), and detailed plant specifications covering transformers, switchgear, and battery systems.
