CONTRACTS MANAGER - New build housing\n\nDaniel Owen are representing A leading national partnership housing developer who is seeking a highly capable Contracts Manager to oversee multiple high-volume residential construction sites in the East Midlands. With a strong reputation for delivering quality homes through long-standing partnerships with housing associations, local authorities, and institutional investors, the business is experiencing continued growth and seeks a proven operational leader to help drive its next phase of development.\n\nLocation: Nottinghamshire & Leicestershire\n\nPosition: Contracts Manager\n\nSalary: Up to £85,000 per annum + Car allowance + Package\n\nContract Type: Permanent\n\nStart date: August/ September\n\nThis is a senior operational role with responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple new build residential schemes. The Contracts Manager will play a pivotal part in ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and manage the delivery of 3/4 concurrent residential construction projects.\nEnsure full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.\nMonitor site progress against programme and take proactive steps to maintain delivery targets.\nManage and mentor Site Managers and wider site teams to drive performance and development.\nCollaborate with commercial, technical, and design teams to resolve operational challenges and ensure seamless project execution.\nMaintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.\nEnsure all developments meet NHBC and regulatory standards.
\n\nRequirements\n\nRelevant qualifications including CSCS (Black Card), SMSTS, and First Aid.\nDemonstrable experience in a Contracts Manager or senior site leadership role within volume housebuilding.\nPrevious experience working with a high volume, PLC house builder (preferred)\nStrong understanding of modern construction practices and regulatory frameworks.\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and site teams simultaneously.\nCommercially aware with a commitment to cost and quality control.\nExceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. \n\nHow to Apply:\n\nIf you are interested in working for this established company, please apply with your updated CV
