Sales Manager (Capture Lead) - ISR
Location
Crawley, United Kingdom. Regular travel to Crawley; up to 50% travel. Hybrid approach with approximately 40% remote work.
Summary
A skilled, experienced Sales Manager who will play a key role in securing high‑value export contracts for ISR Electronic Warfare (Naval), expanding our presence in global defence markets. This role requires strong leadership in managing the end‑to‑end sales/capture process, including identifying and qualifying opportunities, engaging with senior external stakeholders to understand needs, setting price to win, taking responsibility for bid governance reviews with senior management, coordinating cross‑functional teams, negotiating and concluding deals. The incumbent must be Radar EW/ISR literate.
Main Responsibilities
* Promote and sell dedicated portfolio for potential opportunities; take orders through pre‑sales cooperation with KAMs/CDs and Business Development teams up to sales finalisation.
* Define the international sales strategy for a project or account in a target region/country, working with SAM/KAM.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and address problems and complaints on a case‑by‑case basis.
* Promote upsell or market penetration opportunities; negotiate terms and close sales in line with expectations in an international environment.
* Capture information on risks, opportunities, marketing and sales, share in GBU, develop awareness of customer environment.
* Contribute to sales teams and ensure necessary interactions take place with countries through opportunity pipeline reviews, Sitcom meetings and Business Forums.

Security Clearance Requirement
Due to the nature of the work, this role requires Security Clearance (SC). It would be advantageous if currently held; if not, the successful applicant must undergo, achieve and maintain SC clearance prior to commencing employment.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last five years. In some circumstances, a minimum of three years’ residence in the UK over the last five years may be accepted.
