Description of Job:
At this key moment in the life of the church, we are excited to invest in our worship and grow ministry particularly among the younger generations. We are looking for a gifted musician and worship leader who will help the whole church press into God’s presence, and someone who has a particular passion to see people of all ages coming to faith and developing their gifts.
Responsibilities:
1. Encouraging and developing the worship life of All Saints.
2. Leading and coordinating our bands and musicians, especially youth and young adults.
3. Developing other areas of ministry such as discipleship, creativity, and evangelism.
Key Responsibilities and Opportunities:
1. Overseeing musical worship at All Saints as part of the staff team, working with the Rector and Church Wardens.
2. Leading and developing worship which is heartfelt, of a high standard, and open to the Spirit’s direction.
3. Encouraging spiritual gifts and enabling people to experience a deeper encounter with God.
4. Recruiting and managing the volunteer worship bands and musicians, managing the rota via Church Suite, and general worship administration.
5. Sharing in the creative development of worship at All Saints alongside our volunteer Band leaders, musicians, and organists.
6. Working with the AV and technical teams to glorify God through great sound, lighting, and visuals and maximize the potential of the newly installed systems.
7. Encouraging the development of worship by introducing new contemporary songs whilst celebrating a diverse range of traditional hymns and other styles of musical worship.

All Saints is a thriving Church of England church based in Weston on the outskirts of Bath. We have 3 services every Sunday, midweek services, special events, and over 250 members. We are excited to be entering a new season of ministry following the extensive refurbishment of our main church building and looking forward to further growth with many more people becoming Christians and newcomers joining the church.
All Saints enjoys a range of worship styles which we are looking to enhance and develop. Services range from dynamic band-led worship using music from Elevation, Hillsong, and Bethel to more traditional hymns and songs on the organ or keyboard. A team of around 25 musicians led by 8 band leaders includes people of all ages and abilities, as well as a youth band and special choirs and bands for Christmas and festivals.
