Hi 👋
Workonomics are partnering with a well-funded InsurTech scale-up looking to make 2025 the year they go from great product to profitable business. That's where you come in...
💥 As a Design Engineer you will:
* Collaborate directly with customers to ID new solutions as part of the 'discovery' phase.
* Build prototypes straddling React and Figma.
* Create UX flows and high-quality visuals.
* Autonomously lead design direction, improve product usability and expand the existing design system (React).
💥 You'll be...
* Someone who has worked as both a designer and engineer (sorry, this is a non-negotiable) in the past, with the ability to write production grade JS/TS/React code. Although you won't lead on front-end engineering the context of how design impacts performance and quality is crucial.
* Understands that working for a scale-up comes with a high degree of autonomy.
* Can be an advocate for design across the business.
* Defaults to a humble disposition; you have opinions on what 'good' looks like but remain receptive to constructive feedback.
