Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join the night shift team. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving plant operations — ensuring machinery runs efficiently and downtime is minimised in a fast-paced recycling environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant machinery.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
* Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
* Work independently during night shifts while supporting site operations.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in industrial, plant, or maintenance engineering.
* Strong mechanical knowledge (electrical skills advantageous).
* Ability to fault-find and problem-solve under pressure.
* Experience working in a fast-moving production or recycling environment (desirable).
* Flexible, reliable, and safety-focused approach.
