Scottish Renewables is seeking a Head of Offshore to lead its government policy work across offshore energy, with a primary focus on offshore wind. Scottish Renewables is the trade body for Scotland's renewable energy industry, representing over 380 organisations across offshore and onshore wind, solar, hydropower, low‑carbon heat, wave and tidal energy, hydrogen, and the supply chains that support them. Reporting to the Director of Offshore, this is a senior policy leadership role responsible for engaging collaboratively with industry, government and stakeholders to influence Scottish and UK public policy, legislation and regulation. The role has a strong external profile and requires confidence speaking across the full range of offshore‑related issues. As Scotland accelerates the deployment of offshore renewables, Scottish Renewables plays a central role in shaping the policy environment that enables projects to be delivered at scale.
