Job Description Temporary Logistics and Delivery Coordinator Overview We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our client's team as a Logistics and Delivery Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our client's supply chain and logistics operations within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Details Ongoing temporary role with the potential to go permanent Shift work: 36 hours per week average, 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm and 7pm–7am) — 3 shifts per week Hourly rate: £15.50 Chance to work with a reputable company in York Collaborative and inclusive work environment Responsibilities Collaborate with hauliers, distribution centres, factories, customers, suppliers, and co-manufacturers to ensure seamless delivery of customer orders, collection of finished goods, and availability of materials and trailers across the network. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve issues impacting the network. Formulate and implement plans to minimise delays and maintain smooth operational processes. Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting sustainability initiatives through efficient logistics practices. Qualifications Experience in supply chain and/or logistics is preferred, but we are open to developing your knowledge. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams. Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
