Registered Manager Responsibilities:
6. To have overall responsibility for the operational and care delivery functions of the service, reporting to the Director.
7. To continually work toward improving the service.
8. To maintain the company’s strong relationships with local commissioners.
9. To lead on recruiting new care staff to meet service demand.
10. To manage clients’ care packages and to be responsible for ensuring high standards for their ongoing care.
11. To manage the development and retention of all care staff.
12. To have a working understanding of the Care Act and CQC’s Essential Standards.
Registered Manager Requirements:
13. Must have a minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager within a Home Care setting.
14. Must have achieved or be actively working toward a Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care.
15. Must be a driver.
