In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories. Joining HC-One gives you a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be reflected in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, and strong communication skills—both listening and instructing—are vital. You will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We offer full training and a variety of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
