Band 4 Customer & Production Coordinator
This role is based at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital with occasional visits to other customer sites and Chalkmill Drive Decontamination Unit. The role involves providing the interface with customers through effective communication, ensuring their fast track and requirements are integrated into the department, and keeping customers informed on progress and quality issues.
Main duties of the job
To serve as the customer interface and manage data for Decontamination Services (DS) at the customer site, ensuring timely processing of items to meet customer needs and comply with regulations, guidelines, and the DS Quality Management System (QMS). To oversee check sheets and stock levels of instrumentation assets, including loan and consignment stock, through regular audits and maintenance of tracking systems. To collaborate with the production manager in customer meetings, facilitating data reporting between DS and the customer. To coordinate the ordering of consumables and repairs efficiently and cost-effectively. To facilitate investigations into non-conformities, providing evidence, outcomes, solutions, and ensuring close-outs.
