Finance Administrator (Part-Time – Contract to Permanent) Hours: 21–30 hours per week (full days or school hours considered) Contract: 3-Month Contract-to-Permanent Salary: £26,000–£30,000 (Pro Rata, Depending on Experience) Start Date: Immediate About the Company Our client is a well-established and growing technology business that provides specialist services across the retail and hospitality sectors. They are now seeking a Part-Time Finance Administrator to join their friendly finance team, supporting with the day-to-day running of accounts and financial processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexible part-time hours within a dynamic and supportive environment, with genuine potential for the role to become permanent. Key Responsibilities * Raising automated and ad-hoc customer invoices * Credit control and payment allocation * Processing receipts, supplier invoices, and staff expenses * Reconciling credit card statements and direct debits * Approving engineers’ receipts and allocating payroll timesheets * Managing supplier statements and preparing weekly payment runs * General finance and administrative support to the wider team * Responding to email and telephone queries professionally Skills & Experience * Previous bookkeeping or finance administration experience * Experience using Sage or Xero (essential) * Knowledge of GoCardless or Eclipse billing systems advantageous * Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Confident communicator – able to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues * Motivated, reliable, and keen to learn Benefits (if role becomes permanent) * Financial support for AAT studies * Group stakeholder pension scheme Why Apply?
