Job Overview
Are you looking for an Engineering career working for a company who are at the forefront of Pump repairs, service, maintenance and installation projects?
We are offering an accredited training programme in the form of an Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship and are looking to recruit one candidate to join our team.
Our Apprenticeship Scheme is four years in duration and includes both practical training and further education
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Key Tasks
What to expect:
* As you progress through the programme, you will have the opportunity to learn and demonstrate the knowledge and skills that you will gain from working closely with our experienced engineers on site and attending college to achieve academic qualifications.
* You’ll attain base engineering skills in the form of a SVQ Level 2 and NC at college full time in year 1. Over the next 3-year period, you will be working at our East Kilbride workshop and various sites gaining hands on experience.
Development and Progress.
* To undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development.
* To attend college and complete course work on time and to a high standard.
* To produce, maintain and be responsible for content, accuracy and sign off log books.
* To take on additional responsibility in Years 3 & 4 of Apprenticeship.
* To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
* To understand and comply with policies and procedures.
* To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
* To comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* To attend and fully participate regular training and development reviews with line management, mentor, HR representatives and Training Department.
* To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.

Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required
