Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of health and social care professionals? We are proud to be partnering with a weing secondary school and sixth form near Chesterfield who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join their team.
This long-term role begins at Easter and will continue until the vacancy is filled. You’ll take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivery, and assessment—perfect for someone who thrives on inspiring young people.
What You’ll Be Doing Deliver creative, high‑quality lessons across KS4 and KS5
Support students as they explore key themes such as human development, health principles, safeguarding, and care values
Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
Track progress, provide meaningful feedback, and celebrate student success
Play an active role in shaping and enhancing the department’s curriculum
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent – ECTs encouraged to apply
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Strong subject knowledge and experience delivering Health & Social Care
Confident behaviour and classroom management
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well with staff across the school.
