Overview
We're looking for a skilled Finance Analyst to take ownership of our accounts function and work closely with our Company Director. If you have solid management accounts experience and thrive in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
* The role of Financial Analyst involves conducting detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic business decisions and ensure financial stability. The position requires gathering and interpreting financial data, preparing management reports, monitoring budgets, and performing variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities. The analyst will evaluate investment options, assess market trends, and provide recommendations to optimize profitability. Responsibilities also include developing financial models, supporting audits and compliance, and collaborating with senior management to ensure accurate planning and execution of company objectives. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software and MS Excel are essential, alongside the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Weekly working hours are 37.5 hrs.
What we're looking for:
* Proficiency in Xero and strong bookkeeping knowledge.
* Understanding of GAAP and payroll regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
