The Post Holder will join the Arcadis Asset Optimisation Practice, a team of professional consultants providing strategic and technical advice to a wide range of clients across both the public and private sectors. The practice's overarching goal is to align clients' property portfolios with core organizational objectives, transforming property from a necessary expense to a strategic enabler. Our clients include:
* Central Government Departments, Local Authorities, Defence, Education, and Health
* SPVs, Lenders/Funders, Service Providers, and Contracting organizations
* Financial Institutions, Banks, Conglomerates, Consumer Goods, Corporate Developers, Housing, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, and Infrastructure
Role Accountabilities
Areas of Service Delivery
You will support various areas including:
* PFI advisory including handback
* Property Asset Management
* Portfolio Mapping / Strategy
* FM Strategic Advisory
* Life Cycle & Backlog Modelling
* TOTEX Optimisation
* Whole Life Costing
* Benchmarking
* Compliance Reviews / Audit
* Digital Transformation Initiatives (e.g., data-driven decision-making, CAFM implementation)
Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to delivering high-quality consultancy services, supporting project leads, and developing expertise in key client sectors. Your responsibilities include supporting or leading consultancy assignments such as:
* Strategic Reviews
* Target Operating Model Design
* Supply Chain / Procurement
* Benchmarking & Value for Money Reviews
* Performance Reviews
* Audits, Compliance, Controls, Assurance, and Governance
* Data Analytics and Modelling, including Cost Estimation
* Feasibility Studies, Cost Plans, and Databases
* Contract Support / Reviews, including PFIs
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience and knowledge of property-focused consultancy or equivalent
* Significant experience with Public Sector clients (Health, Education, Local Authorities) and private sector environments
* Degree-qualified property professional or full membership of IWFM / RICS or similar organization
* Proven experience in delivering complex projects in multidisciplinary environments
