We are seeking
a full-time Finance Officer (General Ledger), who will be a key member of the Finance team at the Engineering Science department. You will primarily be responsible for period-end processes, and monitoring and reconciling a variety of activity run through the department’s general ledger cost centres. This will include research facilities, workshops, conferences, donation and trust fund accounts, and suspense accounts. About The Role Working with the support of the Management Accountant, this role supports the department by maintaining accurate and efficient processing, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the accounts, and enabling timely financial information to budget holders and other stakeholders. About You You should hold full or part-qualification e.g. in AAT or ACCA (those part-qualified will be supported with their training where possible).You should have experience of spreadsheets, databases and financial software packages, ideally Oracle.
