What You’ll Be Doing
As Shift Manager, you’ll lead a team of production operatives, ensuring smooth and efficient shift operations. You’ll coordinate safety, quality, and output – while keeping costs and waste to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead shift operations across production, engineering, and quality
* Manage workflow, resources, and equipment to hit output and quality targets
* Communicate clearly with other Shift Managers to ensure seamless handovers
* Prepare and present detailed shift reports for senior management
* Champion a proactive health, safety, and environmental culture
* Drive CI projects and promote a high-performance mindset across the team
What You’ll Need
* Proven experience in shift or production management within manufacturing
* Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements
* Demonstrable experience with lean or continuous improvement practices
What You’ll Get
* Salary: £46,100 + £2,300 shift allowance
* Bonus: Up to 15%
* Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, 5% pension, and cash healthcare plan
