Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Injection Mould Toolmaker in Stevenage to join a busy and modern manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity to work in a newly fitted toolroom while supporting the manufacture, repair, and maintenance of high-quality injection mould tools.
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £35, – £40, per annum + Benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacture, modify, repair, and maintain injection mould tools to a high standard.
2. Operate CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and wire eroders.
3. Assemble, test, and adjust mould tools to meet quality standards.
4. Carry out planned maintenance and urgent repairs on existing tooling.
5. Wire hot runner systems and complete fault finding when required.
6. Use hand tools such as files, hacksaws, and grinders safely and effectively.
7. Work with colleagues to improve tooling performance and production efficiency.
8. Record tooling specifications and production processes accurately.
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Proven experience as an Injection Mould Toolmaker, Toolmaker Engineer, or similar role.
10. Around 4 years of toolmaking experience preferred.
11. NVQ or equivalent qualification in Toolmaking, Engineering, or a related field.
12. Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and tooling design.
13. Skilled in using CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and machining equipment.
14. Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
15. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
16. Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
