Teaching Personnel’s Birmingham Primary branch is currently recruiting experienced Primary School Teachers for supply teaching roles starting in September. We have a wide range of part-time and full-time positions available, covering both short-term and long-term contracts, with the possibility of moving into permanent roles.
We work with a variety of fantastic schools across Birmingham, as well as some in Coventry and the Black Country. Each placement is a minimum of one term, providing you with job security while maintaining the flexibility supply work offers.
Please note: These particular positions are not open to ECTs. However, we are actively recruiting ECTs for other roles, so we still encourage you to apply.
✅ What You’ll Be Doing as a Supply Primary Teacher:
Delivering engaging and planned lessons (in some cases planning may be provided)
Marking and assessing pupils’ work
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Reporting pupil progress and collaborating with school staff
Attending relevant meetings or school events (where applicable)
Supporting pupils with SEND and liaising with parents, SENCOs, and other professionals
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with completed induction
Recent teaching experience in KS1 and/or KS2 with strong behaviour management
Two suitable references reflecting your experience
Flexibility and a professional approach to working in different schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
