Business Resilience Business Partner at Sodexo
Are you passionate about safeguarding business operations, protecting reputations, and building organisational resilience? This role focuses on leading the development, implementation, and management of strategies to mitigate risks and ensure rapid recovery from incidents, working closely with business leaders to align resilience with overall objectives.
Responsibilities
* Work with senior management to align business continuity efforts with the overall business strategy
* Build on the foundations of Sodexo’s BCMS by validating and developing scope, business continuity policy, framework, processes and governance arrangements
* Own and maintain the regional ISO 22301 Business continuity management systems certification and associated BCMS documentation
* Raise awareness of and commitment to business resilience so it is embraced as part of culture and business-as-usual activities
* Conduct business impact analysis and risk assessments to identify threats to business operations
* Collaborate with segments and transversal functions to assess, select and propose strategies and solutions that enable mitigation of risks and continuity in disruption
* Support establishing and maintaining agreed business continuity solutions, mitigation measures and supporting plans and procedures
* Plan and deliver an exercise and testing programme to continuously improve business resilience capabilities
* Support the UK&I Head of Quality & Compliance to develop objectives to measure regional business resilience and continuity performance
* Ensure business continuity plans and procedures are up to date and effective and that the BCMS remains fit for purpose
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
* CBCI 7.0 Certification Course or equivalent
* Proven experience in business resilience and continuity management within complex organisations
* Understanding of ISO 22301 and its application
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and develop effective solutions
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Full UK and Ireland driving licence; Fully mobile to travel across the UK and Ireland Region
