Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Specification:? Design masonry support and lintels to current standards for all specified products.? Specify both standard and custom-made items.? Design special steel lintels and windposts, preparing detailed sketches and drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks.Load Assessments:? Perform load assessments on lintels using ‘BS5977-1: Method for assessment of load’ based on architects’ and structural engineers’ drawings.? Provide hand and software calculations, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA).Quality Control:? Conduct spot checks on products during manufacture, ensuring structural integrity.Technical Support:? Provide technical customer service both internally and externally.? Attend design meetings and site visits to develop and maintain customer relationships.Reporting:? Collate information and prepare clear, structured technical reports on site findings.Project Management:? Manage multiple projects with a proactive client focus.? Maintain all necessary information and records to ensure successful project execution and completion.Training and Development:?
