Rail Replacement Operations Coordinator –Arriva - London When the railway stops, we keep people moving. We’re looking for an organised, switched-on Rail Replacement Operations Coordinator to help deliver reliable, cost-effective bus services when they matter most. This is a fast-paced role at the heart of rail replacement operations, working closely with managers, garages, drivers and external partners to make sure the right people and vehicles are in the right place, at the right time. What you’ll be doing Coordinating efficient and cost-effective allocation of rail replacement staff, including holidays, sickness cover, spare duties and overtime Supporting the Rail Replacement Manager with planning, preparation and accounting of rail replacement and associated duties Making sure employees and agency workers are paid accurately and on time Liaising with garages and external partners to secure duty cover and vehicle allocation Supervising and helping prepare driver packs, including maps, timetables and key documentation Producing and maintaining computer-based returns, spreadsheets and operational records Ensuring accurate record-keeping to meet external reporting and audit requirements Promoting and supporting the sale of commercial bus services Providing cover for colleagues and offering general administrative support during annual leave and absences What we’re looking for Strong organisational and administrative skills Confidence working with spreadsheets, records and operational data Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders A proactive, flexible approach in a live operational environment An interest in transport operations and delivering great customer outcomes If you thrive on keeping operations running smoothly and want a key role in the bus industry’s response to rail disruption, we’d love to hear from you.
