About the RoleWe’re looking for aTechnical Sales Executiveto join a newly created sales team focused on delivering innovative technical solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to grow into a high-impact sales role, with the support of a collaborative team and the freedom to shape their own path.
This is a new role in a brand-new department.You’ll be part of building something from the ground up, with the opportunity to grow into a more senior position. Travel will be minimal at first and increase as you gain confidence and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the sales team in achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets.
* Qualify and follow up on inbound and marketing-generated leads.
* Conduct outreach to potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
* Assist in preparing technical proposals and sales presentations.
* Participate in meetings or demos with qualified prospects.
* Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in Salesforce.
* Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and outreach.
* Continuously develop your understanding of our products and industry.
* Provide feedback to improve lead generation and qualification processes.
* Contribute to the development of sales scripts and materials.
* Attend trade shows or events as needed (once up to speed).
Required Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEssential
* 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation in a technical environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
* Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
* A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Desirable
* Experience in manufacturing, automation, or machine vision.
* Previous experience in a sales development or technical sales role.
