Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Secondary Teaching Assistant to work at a thriving 11-18 school in Thurrock. This is a full-time role, ideal for a graduate who is looking for a route into teaching and wants to gain experience in a supportive environment that provides their own teacher training programme. To start this term, this Secondary Teaching Assistant position has the potential to be made permanent in April for the right candidate.
The role
The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in KS3-KS4, you must have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to support students across core subjects.

Requirements
To be considered for the Secondary Teaching Assistant position, you will:
1. Have experience working with students aged 11-18
2. Good GCSE and A-Level grades desirable
3. Have excellent behaviour management skills
4. Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required.
