Hays Education is recruiting a full-time Year 5/6 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in the Taunton area. This is a long-term teaching role with full responsibility, starting ASAP and running through to the end of the summer term.This opportunity is ideal for a confident KS2 Primary Teacher who can quickly integrate into a school and provide consistency for pupils in Upper Key Stage 2.

* Responsibility: Full planning, preparation and assessment
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum (KS2)
* Take full classroom responsibility for a Year 5/6 class
* Plan, prepare and assess pupils' progress effectively.
* Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom routines
* Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership
* Support pupil attainment and wellbeing
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Year 5, Year 6 or Upper KS2
* Strong knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
* Ability to commit to a full-time teaching post
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Available to start immediately
