Job Title: Training Manager - Residential Children's Homes Location: Eastbourne (with travel to London homes as required) Reports to: Responsible Individual (RI) / Head of Care (HoC) Working Pattern: Full-time (9:00-5:00 or 8:30-4:30, with flexibility to cover evening/night training and workshops as required) Please note: this job description is not exhaustive. Additional duties and project-based responsibilities may be required in line with business needs. Role Overview The Training Manager leads the development and delivery of high-quality training across our residential children's homes.
With a strong background in social care and learning development, you will ensure all staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to meet the diverse and complex needs of the children and young people in our care. You will: Design and deliver mandatory and bespoke training programmes. Act as the registered centre manager with the awarding organisation (NCFE).
Maintain robust internal quality assurance standards in line with regulatory requirements and best practice. Play a key role in embedding our culture, values, and "Only Outstanding" principles across all homes.
