Associate Hardware/Test Automation Engineer role focused on designing and testing micro-inverter hardware and automation in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and testing Enphase hardware to its limits in a well-equipped lab environment
* Developing skills in board level design, test design, fault diagnosis, debugging, and problem solving
* Working on firmware, hardware, test automation, product validation, compliance, custom ASICs, and advanced power electronics
* Developing and testing micro-inverters using Python test automation scripts and tech bench methods
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams including senior hardware, firmware, and test automation engineers
About You
The company is looking for:
* Recent or soon-to-be graduates with a Bachelor of Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent qualification
* Hands-on interest in hardware design and testing
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues in test software, hardware, or firmware
* Eligibility to work in New Zealand with a current work visa or similar (no sponsorship available)
