This position is within Deloitte Business Security (DBS), part of the Deloitte Quality, Risk and Security (QRS) community, which supports quality and risk management across Deloitte.
Responsibilities include:
* Building and maintaining relationships within the Defence Security and Justice Account.
* Providing security advice and support on client sites, ensuring compliance with client processes.
* Understanding and translating policies, processes, and controls for the Public Sector.
* Delivering training to new joiners and refresher sessions.
* Collaborating on projects to provide security solutions and reviewing security assessments and plans.
* Negotiating security provisions in client contracts alongside Legal and Risk teams.
* Working with SMEs on security-related queries.
Essential skills and experience:
* Adherence to organizational and client procedures.
* Proactive with strong attention to detail and forensic approach.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
* Problem-solving with analytical skills.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365.
* Currently hold Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
Desirable qualifications:
* Knowledge of UK Government and Defence security procedures, Security Policy Framework, ISO 27001, and OSA.
* Understanding of security vetting and threats to organizational security.
* Formal security qualifications like CISM or CISSP.
