About the role:
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our fantastic team here at Progreen Weed Control & A1 Lawn. Based at our site in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, with commentary on performance. As part of this role you will prepare and present our weekly sales performance, as well as ensuring our systems and processes are effieicent, secure and compliant to deliver our monthly outputs in such a way that allows for meaningful analysis. You will also partner with our senior leaders providing them with in-person expertise, insight, and support them will delivering their strategies. You will also have the opportunity to become a role model to others within our wider finance team within the WCF family, supporting them through coaching and mentoring.

About you:
* Recognised accountancy qualification with significant experience of preparing management and year end accounts
* Extensive experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Experience of thinking strategically as well as tactically for the purpose of management solutions.
* Proven ability to highlight trends and detect financial inconsistencies when analyzing and summarising detailed financial information.
* Used to working in a fact moving environment providing accurate and timely information to a high standard
* Proven experience of resolving complex accounting problems
* Good working knowledge of a computerized accounting and back office systems
* Good knowledge of how databases works and proficient in the use of Mircosoft Excel.
* Strong attention to detail
* Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels and ability to build and maintain cooperative working relationships with all members of the home shopping team
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to delegate tasks to accounts assistant and further their development.
