Your Role
and What You'll Be Doing
We are currently recruiting for a talented Grade C Solicitor to join our Medical Negligence team based in our Sheffield office, led by Partner .
Sarah has specialised in medical law for more than 20 years and is nationally recognised for her expertise in birth injury, amputation, and spinal injury cases. She is known for her first-class litigation skills, strategic approach, and compassionate client care, consistently praised by Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.
Our Sheffield team works exclusively on medical negligence cases, supporting clients across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands. We handle some of the most complex and life-changing claims, including cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, cancer misdiagnosis, and fatal claims, often involving inquests.
As a Grade C Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload of medical negligence matters, typically of moderate complexity and value, while also assisting senior team members with high-value, complex cases. You’ll be involved from start to finish, applying your analytical and commercial skills to identify key issues and deliver practical, empathetic solutions. Where appropriate, you’ll aim to secure interim payments to support rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before final settlement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced, supportive, and passionate team that is committed to improving patient safety and advocating for better standards in medical care.
