Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-establised manufacturer of electrical & mechanical systems based in the Carterton, Oxfordshire area. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview
* Producing mechanical designs elements for larger projects
* Producing detailing engineering drawings, including materials and surface finishing choices
* Ensuring Bill of Materials are correct and up to date
* Support the mechanical builds of prototypes
* Producing work instruction and diagrams
* Designing associated jigs
* Working closely with customers and suppliers
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
* Degree qualified within a Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* 2+ years of experience within a Mechanical Design Engineering role
* Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
* Based in a commutable distance of Witney, Oxfordshire
* PC Literate
