Job Title: Maths and English Tutor
Location: Leicestershire, Leicester
Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide individual and group tutoring in Maths and English subjects
* Create tailored lesson plans to meet the learning needs of each student
* Assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve
* Utilise various teaching methods to engage students and enhance their understanding
* Collaborate with other educators to develop effective teaching strategies
Required Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in Maths, English or Education
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners
Education:
Degree in Maths, English or Education
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of Maths and English curriculum
* Ability to assess students' learning needs and provide targeted support
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
* Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
* Additional qualifications in special education or literacy development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
