This role supports the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative CFK interventions, co-created with children, families, and teachers.
What will you do?
* Act as a liaison between remote CFK Teams and onsite intervention site team, building relationships and maintaining communication.
* Promote engagement within the intervention site community and the wider local community.
* Provide creative ideas for intervention design, delivery, and evaluation based on your knowledge of audience needs.
* Support administrative activities such as data collection, organizing meetings, and other administrative tasks.
* Identify potential new intervention site opportunities locally and beyond.
* For Intervention Team Leads: ensure successful intervention delivery, stakeholder management, planning, collaboration, and team management.
Who are we looking for?
Applicants should have experience in:
* Schools or educational settings (teacher, teaching assistant, educationalist, health coach, sports coach).
* Nutrition, diet, food sciences, or technology.
* Cooking demonstrations and recipe sharing.
* Understanding of children, parents, carers, and school professionals, including motivation and barriers to healthy eating.
* Project management and team coordination.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Creative support for intervention materials.
* Previous similar roles are a plus but not essential.
What will you do as a volunteer?
Lead or support interventions in West Sussex (Bognor Regis, Chichester, Portsmouth). We offer training, a supportive environment, and opportunities for professional and personal development.
