What You'll Be Doing
* Leading by example on shift, supporting a team of experienced carers
* Providing 1:1 support for children in a warm, safe, therapeutic environment
* Collaborating closely with a Consultant Psychologist and Registered Manager
* Making a tangible difference in the lives of children recovering from trauma
This dedicated therapeutic residential home cares for children aged 5-12 who have experienced severe trauma, including sexual abuse. The team is supported by a psychologist to ensure each child's therapeutic needs are met to high standards. The home provides individualised care, managing challenges such as aggression and behavioural issues, especially during initial transitions. Currently, the children are settled, engaged in education, and enjoy activities like rock climbing, coffee mornings, and summer camps.

The Successful Applicant Will Have
* 2+ years Residential Childcare experience
* Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
* Manual Driving Licence
* Empathy, resilience, trauma-informed mindset
