Overview
The role is based at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow and involves delivering expert clinical pharmacy services to paediatric and neonatal intensive care, paediatric haematology and oncology, general paediatrics and surgical and medical specialties.
Responsibilities
* Deliver targeted, safe and effective patient and family‑centred care.
* Contribute to research, quality improvement and development initiatives.
* Mentor experiential learning and foundation year pharmacists as part of the training and education programme.
* Participate in weekend working, public holidays and on call duties, with a working pattern Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Working towards or holding a postgraduate qualification and an Independent Prescribing qualification.
* Commitment to CPD in line with GPhC requirements and completion of a Post‑registration Framework or equivalent experience.
* Paediatric experience is desirable but not essential.
