We’re partnering with a well-established charity to recruit a Deputy Manager for a supported living service for individuals with learning disabilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in service delivery, staff development, and client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance.
* Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for clients and staff.
* Lead on care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols.
* Promote independence and empower clients in decision-making.
* Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality and data protection standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies.
* Drive continuous improvement and contribute to service development initiatives.
About You
* Hold a relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* Have experience in a care setting, ideally supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of person-centred care and current care legislation.
* Possess excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
