Design Support
Purpose of this role
To provide administrative support to the Electricity Design & Technical Services team and ensure customers are kept informed of project progression.
Your Key Responsibilities Are
* Act as co‑ordinator for any correspondence to facilitate design work through the Design & Technical Services Team.
* Provide a first point of contact for our customers and assist with the coordination of their projects.
* Assist with administration work within the Design & Technical Services Team.
* Engage with Customers, Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) and other Network Operators, providing communication and coordination between all parties.
* Raise payment requests and process as required for project related work.
* Process applications for customers’ requirements for Point of Connection applications, Embedded Generation, and Electric Vehicle applications.
* Facilitate the recording of Bilateral Connection Agreements for new connections.
Qualifications
* Any other duties as required by the manager.
* GCSE or equivalent English, Maths and a Science.
Experience/Knowledge
* Experience engaging with customers.
Abilities/Skills
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
Desirable
* A-Levels or equivalent.
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent.
