What You'll Be Doing:
As a Library Assistant, you'll support the delivery of a high-quality library and information service, including:
* Assisting customers with accessing digital resources and information.
* Supporting the planning and delivery of events (e.g., author events, class visits).
You will be based at a library but may work at other libraries as required. Hours of work range from 7 to 37 hours per week. Please see attachments for rotas.

* Pike Hill Library - 18hpw
* Barnoldswick Library - 15hpw
* Burnley Campus & Padiham Libraries - 12.5hpw
* Coal Clough & Brierfield Libraries - 11hpw
* Burnley Library - 7hpw

This is a part-time position; the salary quoted is full-time equivalent and will be paid on a pro-rata basis. The role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). Successful applicants will need to apply for a DBS disclosure.
