This position is for a Grade Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). We also welcome applications from Progressed Social Workers (non-AMHP/Grade).
This is a full-time temporary specialist post funded until March. The role involves working exclusively with rough sleepers with mental health issues, including mental health assessments, Care Act assessments, support plans, and liaising with mental health services. The referral process is broad, with customers able to self-refer through drop-in sessions.

You will be:
* Qualified as an AMHP (postgraduate certificate or master's level)
* Experienced in managing high-risk, complex cases and safeguarding adults
* Knowledgeable of mental health legislation
* Comfortable working autonomously and motivated to make a difference
* Aware of the importance of multidisciplinary and integrated working
* Capable of effective communication with clients, carers, and families
* Resilient and able to manage personal stress
* Able to undertake an enhanced DBS check and Adults Barred List check
This is a hybrid role, combining work in Council offices and from home where suitable.
