About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Applications Engineer to join our client’s team in Stafford on a 6‑month contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about engineering and technology to contribute to cutting‑edge projects within a dynamic environment. Qualifications
* A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
* Proven experience in applications engineering or technical support within the engineering, manufacturing, automation, or industrial sectors.
* Strong knowledge of automation systems, control systems, and industrial equipment.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
* Proficiency in CAD software and technical documentation tools.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and datasheets accurately.
* Skilled in troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and providing effective technical solutions.
* Customer‑focused with strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships.
* Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
* A full UK driving licence is desirable for client site visits and field support.
Responsibilities
