We are working with a highly successful and ambitious family-run haulage business near Otley, Leeds, seeking an experienced General Haulage Senior Transport Planner to join their team.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Transport Planner, you will own all planning activities for a fleet of articulated vehicles and drivers. You should be able to plan under pressure to maximize revenue while complying with legal constraints and maintaining high customer service standards. You will also support directors in shaping future growth.
Key requirements include:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in transport planning
* At least 2 years' experience in general haulage
* Knowledge of drivers’ hours regulations and running costs
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* CPC qualification or working towards it
* Proficient computer skills
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm. Saturday mornings on a rota basis (discussed during interview).
