A leading UK consultancy is building a dedicated AI & Data Science team to deliver high-impact work across health and social care. They specialise in embedding technical teams directly within client environments — working alongside clinicians, operational leads, and public sector stakeholders to deliver measurable change. With a strong track record in complex, regulated environments, they’re now scaling their capability across ML, NLP, and advanced analytics.
As a Data Scientist (Lead / Principal), you’ll work on projects that directly impact patient care and system efficiency. Recent work includes predictive analytics for fall prevention, combining structured data and clinical notes to trigger early interventions and reduce hospital admissions.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and deploy data science, ML and NLP models for healthcare and social care use cases
• Work with structured data and unstructured clinical datasets
• Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver end-to-end solutions
• Translate modelling outputs into measurable outcomes (e.g. reduced admissions, improved care pathways)
Key Details
• Salary: £80,000 - £130,000
• Working model: On-site 3+ days/week with healthcare clients across England
• Tech stack: Python, NLP libraries, MLflow, Databricks, Azure, simulation tools
