Key Responsibilities:
As a Paediatric Complex Care Support Worker with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality care. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
* Provide full tracheostomy care, including emergency management
* Carry out airway suctioning and monitor for signs of respiratory distress
* Deliver overnight CPAP support
* Administer and monitor overnight NG feeds safely and effectively
* Maintain continuous clinical observation and accurate documentation
* Respond immediately and appropriately to apnoea episodes or airway compromise
* Work independently throughout waking night shifts, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the service user
Role Requirements:
To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
* Proven experience in paediatric complex care
* Full competency in tracheostomy care (no training will be provided)
* Experience with NG feeding and overnight respiratory support
* Confidence working independently on waking night shifts
* Up‑to‑date paediatric Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
