My client is looking for a Small Works Electrician to join their team on a Full Time basis About the role My client is looking for a skilled and reliable Small Works Electrician to join their maintenance and small-works team. You’ll carry out electrical installations, upgrades, repairs, and light projects on a range of commercial, retail, and residential properties. The role requires a practical, hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to deliver safe, compliant electrical solutions on time and to the highest standard. Responsibilities • Plan, install, test, commission, and hand over electrical circuits and small scale installations (lighting, power, controls) on defined projects and maintenance tasks. • Fault finding, diagnostic work, repair, and routine maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. • Carry out electrical testing and inspections in line with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and ensure compliance with Part P where applicable. • Complete pre-commission checks, insulation resistance, continuity testing, earth fault loop impedance tests, and issue appropriate test certificates. • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, schedules, method statements, and risk assessments; request and manage any required materials. • Ensure all work is delivered to ...
