Director of FP&A & Regulatory Reporting - £150,000 - £170,000 + £11K car + bonus
Due to recent acquisition and restructuring, a South West based Group are looking for a high-calibre leader to join as Director of FP&A & Regulatory Reporting, a key role at the heart of the Group Finance function.
This is a hybrid role with only 2x days required in the office per week in Exeter.
Package: £150,000 - £170,000 + £11K car allowance + bonus + 10% pension + 30 days holiday + bank holidays + wider benefits
The Role: Financial Strategy Meets Regulatory Insight
This is a rare opportunity to take a truly integrated leadership role across the Group. You'll oversee the activities of their specialist Strategic Planning, Reporting, Regulatory Finance, and Revenue teams - bringing together all strands of performance, planning and regulatory reporting into one coherent, high-performing function.
Your mission: to create a trusted "single version of the truth" that drives insight-led decisions, underpins strategic planning, and ensures they stay ahead in a highly regulated, rapidly evolving sector.
What You'll Be Responsible For
1. Overseeing the Reporting team to deliver insightful monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting
2. Improving MI
3. Leading the Regulatory Finance team, ensuring strong integration with wider finance, regulatory and operational teams, and full understanding of financial regulatory impacts
4. Driving the continuous development of our Strategic Planning & Financial Modelling capability - enabling accurate, agile, and forward-looking decision-making
5. Partnering with the Group Financial Control team to implement consistent corporate accounting policies
6. Supporting audit processes and ensuring high standards in all reporting disciplines
7. Ensuring a strong culture of performance management, team development and succession planning
8. Acting as a key voice for Finance at senior leadership and Executive level - communicating with impact and clarity
What They're Looking For
9. Proven experience in leading FP&A and financial strategy at Group level
10. Experience of redesigning reporting suites and improving MI
11. Experience working within large, complex businesses
12. Ability to develop strategic models and support long-term investment planning
13. Exceptional communication skills - able to present complex financial insight to executive and board audiences
14. A passion for translating data into action and improving business performance
