Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our team. You will work split shifts, preparing and cooking meals for both lunch and dinner services. This is a hands-on role that requires efficiency, creativity, and a passion for delivering delicious food.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard during lunch and dinner services.
* Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all menu items.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
* Assist with stock control, ingredient preparation, and kitchen inventory.
* Follow all health and safety, and food hygiene standards.
* Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a chef in a busy pub or restaurant environment.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in split shift patterns.
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
* Creativity and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
