We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and manage meal preparation efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing culinary techniques and best practices.
* Assist in serving meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
* Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, showcasing the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
* Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members.
